Musica Lirica: Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro

In anticipation of it’s performance of Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro in the Autumn, Musica Lirica will be performing the Second Act of Figaro featuring its wonderful, celebrated finale, on Tuesday 25th May at Alston Hall as part of Joan Burn’s Mozart Opera Lectures.

Handel’s Messiah Sunday 31st Jan

The Michael Hall Theatre School Adult Choir accompanied by Lytham Light Orchestra and sixty additional singers will perform Handel’s Messiah at St Pauls’s Church, Honister Avenue 7pm. Soloists are Jacqui Cookson sop, Jacqui Veasey contr, Peter Van Hulle-Wilson ten, David Twizell bass. The performance will be conducted by Michael Hall.

Join us for a scratch performance of Handel’s most celebrated oratorio.

Kids Music Shop Auditions

After the success of Wheels on the Bus and Row, Row, Row your Boat, Michael Hall Theatre School has been asked to take part in a new project with Kids Music Shop and will be holding auditions for their two new DVDs on Saturday 31st January 10am-12pm.

The audition will involve some singing and acting to camera.

Students must be between 8 to 11 yrs and be available over the Easter holidays Tue 6th – Fri 16th April for filming. Recording sessions will take place on Sat 6th and Sun 7th March. (Fees will be credited)

Movement rehearsals will be scheduled during the four week period leading up to the filming dates.

Students must be fully committed for consideration.

Witness for the Prosecution by Agatha Christie

Joseph and Evita Party

Musical Theatre Dance Styles
